I Became A Car Salesman After This Training

WorldWide Consulting Services - I Became A Car Salesman After This Training
Back in late August to early September of 1999, I found this sales training company from the car dealership I applied to called Tom Rice Buick/Pontiac/GMC Truck in Huntington, NY at the time. I applied there with no auto sales experience. I paid whatever it cost back then to start the training, and I was told I'd be reimbursed by the dealership shortly after successful completion of the training, which did get me the sales job at Tom Rice. I was fully reimbursed along with my first base salary paycheck. They started me at $200.00 a week, plus commission and a demo allowance. It was so long ago, but I think it was a three day course? Possibly five days? I remember learning a lot and having a great time with everyone. There were six of us, and we all started selling cars at Tom Rice after completing the course. It was a legit training course... At least back then anyway... If this is in fact the same training course? I still have my now dirty and worn sales training certificate that I received on 9/3/99. I'll try to upload it here below. Thank you.

Peter is a Con-artist-WWCS

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Paid the training seminar fee. Traveled down to their location and there was no other people for the training. Sat in a room and watched videos and on the last day Peter came in and asked some questions. It was a total joke. Several weeks passed and no assignment and no further training. I never got to talk to Peter again, would not answer or return my calls. Biggest scam and ripoff.

Peter is a con-man! I paid $3000 for training to be a sales trainer along with six other people.

Peter got $18,000 cash that week from us. We watched videos that taught us very little, and we got a training guide that was a joke. Most important, Peter couldn't supply enough work for my training group. He knew this up front, but he still took our money.

By the way, someone from a previous training ripoff contacted a member of my group at their hotel. He warned that Peter would just take our money and not have enough jobs for all of us.

We confronted Peter, but he conned his way out of it. We should have listened.

I did the 3 day training with Peter Farrigan and he guaranteed that everyone who made the graduation would be hired , even if it was at another dealership ( other than the one he was hired to do the training). Yes you would need to interview but dealerships are always hiring and having this training will give you a leg up. What I find interesting is all the complaints that he is a scammer, etc . Thing is he will do his best to get you a gig in the industry and the $500 is worth the training he provided. Just be prepared upfront that you will need to pay for his services.

SCAMMED

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
i just went through the same thing w/Pete Ferrigno at Mall of GA KIA... Pete gave 10 of us his huge 3 day 'orientation' all about the chrysler/dodge/kia/jeep and sucked us all into paying $500 for our 'Certification' and promised we would get the money back one way or another 1. if we decide we dont want to work there, the manager would write us a check for $500, 2. If we don't 'work out' in sales, we wouldn't be fired, we would be moved to another department 3 after 90 days employment, we would get the money back, with interest- $625. well, after i completed my certification Sunday, I came in Monday and was FIRED!!! I asked why- no answer! I asked for my money back and they told me "WE DON'T HAVE YOUR MONEY- PETE DOES! and everyone in that dealership refers to Pete as "Pete the liar" because everything he told us those 3 days in our orientation class w/him was LIES! That was when I got nervous and found this website after googling his name! I was nervous during my certification and surely enough I had every right to be! I told these people I just moved back to GA, I was a single, widowed mother and that $500 was for my new house but I invested in this job because I saw a future- I was assured I was part of a 'FAMILY' now and i would get my money back! Well, now i am out $500, plus the $100 I spent on clothing, shoes, supplies for this job- not to mention I had to pay $200 for a babysitter those 2 weeks and I drove 3 hours a day to get my kids to the sitter every morning and get to work, then do the driving again after work each day! I was going through a tank of gas every 3 days!!! Then i was FIRED! because why? well, another employee informed me that I missed a 2 days because I hurt my back and the people of this dealership told me i need to go to the ER and take care of myself because i could barely walk- I brought them a form from the hospital and they still held that against me!!! I have never felt so low and played in my life- I am 30 years old and have had many jobs and been fired once or twice for silly things but never in my life have I felt like this!!

Resolved: The award for the best thought out business scam goes to: LOU FUSZ BUICK/GMC in collaboration WORLD WIDE CONSULTANTS

Updated by user Jun 02, 2015

My issue has been resolved, ending in a full refund from the owner of the car dealership who was helpful, empathetic, and swift. I am satisfied with the outcome of the resolution between these companies and I.

Original review May 29, 2015
Seven individuals and I were promised a job with Lou Fusz, and everyone paid $600 each for training and yet, I am writing this review... We "trained" for three days (Wed-Fri) and received and automotive sales manual that contained grammatical errors and spelling ONLY after paying your money. The trainer , Ted Saras talked around absolutely everything without giving honest, clear answers. We were guaranteed everything in writing and copies of the things we signed at orientation after training and didn't get one receipt, document, or certificate. Ted Saras took cash in hand, debit and/or credit linked directly to his phone, but no checks; go figure. After everyone had paid their training dues, that Friday, Ted Saras disappeared into thin air, claiming to hit Chicago and go train individuals there, promising to return in three months to check on everyone and their job performance. No contact number was given for him. We did however, receive a number to a Placement Hotline. This hotline guaranteed you a job for life and this was the number to WORLD WIDE CONSULTANTS. When you call this number, no one states the name of the business being World Wide Consultants, just their first name. The General Manager of Lou Fusz Larry Buckhhorn, took extremely and unprofessionally long to speak to everyone individually after Ted Saras that Friday, and and apparently Larry told us all something different. Larry Buckhhorn told me and another one of my peers that his staff were waiting for 5 out of the 7 background checks to come back and Larry Buckhhorn wanted to move forward with orientation as a team. My peer and I was told that we were to be given a call by him the following Monday to get orientation and on site drug testing to start that Wednesday. Orientation was to be held at the LOU FUSZ NISSAN location. Monday came around, I gave Larry after anticipating his call and with time passing. Larry, then told me that all of the background checks had not came back and he would call me the next day (Tuesday). Tuesday came around, I give Larry a call again, he then informs me that the background checks had not came back and that orientation was off for the following day(Wednesday). Larry did not contact me on Wednesday, I then attempted to reach him that Thursday. I was told that he was off work that day. Friday around noon, I visited LOU FUSZ BUICK/GMC on 10950 Page Blvd, Saint Louis, MO; where keep in mind all of the "training" had taken place that week prior. I asked to see Larry and was told by his receptionist that he had been in a meeting all morning and there was no telling of when he would get out. So, I politely waited. Fifteen minutes later, he approaches me and we had a sit down. I asked him what was going on and Larry Buckhhorn, General Sales Manager of Lou Fusz, lied directly to my face. He continued to claim the background checks still had gotten back and then twisted and turned and said he forwarded my application to Lou Fusz Mazda. Then proceeded to tell me that I had not been hired on that location and that I had not been guaranteed a job from the beginning. He let me know that he did not have my $600 and that Ted Saras was a subcontractor that he allowed to come in and train people and sell his book, however, no one was hired on. I received a phone call from a South Carolina are code number and spoke with Brian who called to set up my initial interview, claimed to be new to Lou Fusz and St. Louis therefore couldn't provide me with local directions. There was a representative who went by the name of Sam and he informed me that I was guaranteed a job or my money back. I let him know that all I wanted was my money back and he pretended to work on it. In conclusion, Brian, Mr. new to Lou Fusz and Sam the World Wide Consulting Rep in South Carolina have the exact same mobile phone number. Lesson learned, don't pay for job training!

WorldWide Consulting Services - Rendered Services Review from New York, New York

I do have to agree with some of the others. Services were rendered. The person went through training and got the job. How is this the trainers fault? Stopping payment was illegal and hopefully was resolved. Talk all you want about the sales training, but he did get hired and then decided to quit. So who is really at fault here? You want to complain because you quit? It can't be that bad because there are millions employed at dealerships all across America. And for those that didn't pay, so what? You weren't offered a job. The whole point is if the training nets a job, and in this case it clearly did.

These Guys are a Rip Off

I took the class from World Wide Consulting in 2009 at a local Auto Dealership. We were told from the start that they couldn't promise us a job. I paid the $630 for their "manuel". I did get the job with the dealership. I was also told that after 30 days, my money would be refunded by the dealership if I "worked out". I did but when I asked the dealership for my money back ,they said that they knew nothing about this. The owner of the dealership did refund my money, but he was not happy about it. His unhappiness was with World Wide Consulting, not me. When I tried to contact World Wide Consulting to help me find employment with another Auto dealership,as they had promised, they ignored my calls and did nothing for me. World Wide Consulting can't do anything for you that you can't do yourself. KEEP YOUR MONEY!

BEWARE

This company is a scam. They hired me as a trainer and took my money ($2640.00) and I never got it back. They lie to the trainees as they cannot get everyone a job they promise. I did this twice as a trainer and realized you have to lie to these poor people who only want a job and I can't do that. Don't trust Logan Bentley or Pete Farigon. These people are total scam artists. They will tell you anything to get your money. I don't know how they sleep at night with all the stealing they do.

UCS Auto; UCSAuto Inc; UCS Auto Training; United Consulting Services Inc

"Deceptive Business Practices"; Multi-level marketing (MLM), or Chain referral sales and a new style of Pyramid Sales, sort of sums up this catalogue of events to a tee. This report contains valuable information; facts and guidlines that has been researched due to the outcome of one or more relating to the above illegal Fraud Practices/actions occurring, information that may help State and governing Authorities to pursue action against the ongoing practices etc... Cutting to the chase - the above company practicing under its latest "Title" as United Consulting Services Auto, Inc working hand in hand with the local Dealership - in this particular case Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY. Timeline to particular Incident:> ** Advert placed on Binghamton Craigslist requesting Sales people - ID Posting #220716**** (has now since been removed) during the week ending 12th February 2011. ** Individual responds on the 13th February with a phone call - leaves message. ** Individual calls again on the 14th - sets up appointment for Interview with Secretary at above location. ** Individual attends Interview on the 15th at above location, along with approx 15 other potential 'Auto-Trainee' Salespersons, conducted by Consultant representative for UCS Auto - introduced as David S Monicatti, from Michigan State. ** Individual is advised during the above introduction seminar that there will be a cost amount involved for a "training kit" - amount as yet undisclosed - parties interested in pursuing a Career in the Automotive Industry are encouraged to consider this as they will eventually earn high scale $$$$. ** Individual is recalled for second more in depth interview by David S Monicatti on the 16th February - details of the "training kit" is offered along with a request for $629. ** Individual states that it will be necessary to discuss such investment with members of family, as individual is currently unemployed and not in a financial position to procure such an amount. Individual also noted that out of the original 15 interviewed, only four have been selected. ** Individual discusses request with members of family - a enquiry is also made to the local Police Station to clarify the legitimacy of such a financial request and the validity of the company pursuing this action - UCS Auto. ** Individual is expected to return to the Dealership on the 17th to confirm and accept proposal, as well as provide the requested funding. ** Phone call is received from local Sherriff on the 17th – approx 1 hr before appointed time…..confirming that the request for payment in order to access "training for the Automotive Salesperson" seems to be in order. ** Check is made out to the Dealership for the sum of $629 - Individual returns at appointed time to complete transaction. David S Monicatti is unable to accept the check as it is made out to the local Dealership - requests alternative funding, confusion in conversation leads individual to understand that they are required to provide cash. ** Individual returns to office of family member to discuss concerns now evolving - family member clearly indicates that under NO circumstances is cash being handed over - that if the presented check is not acceptable then the 'investment' is not viable. ** Individual returns to Dealership, and again discusses the outcome of the conversation with David S Monicatti. David S Monicatti makes phone call to family member - family member discuss validity of "investment" - the underlying intent with regards to the "training" being offered and what would cause a loss of that said investment ie "In the event of....". David S Monicatti was very careful not to implicate any "guarantees" but turned the conversation over to the persona of the Individual - the recognition of their future as an Automotive Salesperson - the professionalism that was exhibited and so forth. Family member again pursued the quality of the said "Investment" - and that under no circumstances would cash be paid over - regardless of how David S Monicatti respectfully viewed the Individual. ** David S Monicatti then stated "Absolutely - fully understood - had never indicated that Cash was to be paid - just needed the check to be made out to me in person" - proceeded to spell the name. Further explained that he accepted the check in his name to avoid any issues with bounced payments etc - and that he in return would be making a total "company" check payment to the Dealership for their involvement. Also expressed that he was due to return to Michigan and had a set time for completion of the documentation by 5pm that day (17th). Family member requested assurance that a legal receipt would be provided for the payment of the "training package"....David S Monicatti stated "absolutely". ** Family member and Individual discussed concerns for over an hour - and 10 mins prior to appointed time Individual left with newly written check made over to David S Monicatti. ** Individual spends the next day (Friday 18th) procuring suitable clothes for their future as a Professional Salesperson under the flagship of the local Dealership. Is excited at the prospect of a quality career with foundations that will allow on-site training as well as tiered payroll payments involving the first month to be that of $2000; the second month that of $1500 plus $50 for any leads regarding actual car sales, and finally $1000 per month plus $75 for any leads regarding actual car sales. Finally after the 90 days "probation Training scheme" Individual should receive appointment to Auto-salesperson earning a % of actual sales. This also tiered on the basis that Individual met a quality background check; had no serious violation on the Driving License and passed a Drug Test. ** Individual returns on the Saturday - 19th February for an appointed Interview with actual owner of Dealership, the interview was noted for 10.30am. Individual waited patiently till 1.30pm before actual Interview was given. During said Interview the Individual was faced with extremely invasive questions concerning personal achievements, family background and current lifestyle etc. ** Individual was given to understand that current employment prospects were on very thin ground - that there was little evidence of stability etc. After Interview Individual indicates desire to become the "Best" subject to proposed 'Training package", and stayed at Dealership beyond Interview to show genuine interest and keenness. ** Individual was asked to return for start of Dealership promotion - Monday 21 February - Orientation was set for 8.30 am start. Individual arrived with three other potential UCS Auto selected Trainees, each was asked to introduce themselves to the group. On said Individual's turn - a derogative and unprofessional remark was made by a senior staff member of the Dealership directly involving Individual. ** Individual retains composure - continues with introduction and sets focus on day's "training" that will set Career in progress. Individual also notes that Auto-Salespersons from all over the State as well as Out-of State Sales personnel are arriving in to procure clients/sales on behalf of the Dealership. ** Individual along with the three other UCS Auto "Trainees" are required to stand for 12 hrs without involvement in any form to the day's activities. Individual is also given indication that NO communication should be undertaken with prospective clients - nor is Individual allowed to participate in actual procedures - nor offered the opportunity to "learn" under supervision, or within the said guidelines of the "UCS Auto Training Manual". ** Individual is advised that they are expected to work a 12 hr day for the next 7/10 days (advertised Promotion week) without break other than lunch/short toilet break. Individual is also advised that the duration of the 7/10 day "Promotion" will be paid at NY State base rate, less tax. Individual was NOT requested to complete a W4 or any other legal payroll required documentation - nor given indication as to when that would be applied. Individual was also advised that discussed amount would be made at the end of the 7/10 day Promotional period. ** Individual completes day's "work" and returns to residence - discusses events with family member. Family member recognizes areas of accountability concerning the State Law, as well as some undisclosed illegal practices...and makes judgmental call regarding overall situation. ** Family member contacts bank - and files request to stop payment of Investment - procures evidence that supports concerns and possible illegal actions. ** Bank verifies action - supports Family member with decision and stops payment with effective results. ** Individual receives phone call from Dealership the following day - Tuesday 22 February, regarding absent from duty - Individual firmly states reasons and relays comments made. Subject is closed ** David S Monicatti receives notice regarding cancelled check payment - contacts family member with urgency - family member currently filing all facts with Rip-off, as well as Attorney General - Bureau of Consumer Fraud and Protection etc citing several possible legal violations under both State and Federal Law. 1960's >>> Wwcs Tel America Inc - 9303 Monroe Rd Ste K 28270-**** - Charlotte (Mecklenburg) Tel. 704814**** Sales: Unavailable Number of employers: Unavailable President: Peter Ferrigan Description:>> Telephone Communications Automobile Training Services - (D.B.A) 1960 see listed Akas President: Peter Ferrigan - Copyright Claimant Peter Ferrigan ....registers various Copyright documentations as listed:> * December 1969 >>> >>>>ATS, Inc came into being as a spin off from the above - followed by Copyright publications. *Back to Basis & 11 other Titles - December 31st 1969 - A.T.S Inc (date recorded 1995) * ATS, Inc, Marine & RV Division Training program - published Jan 30th 1991 * Presentation and Training - published Jan 30th 1991 * Automobile Training Services, the nation's largest supplier of top salespeople - published Jan 15th 1994 * Auto sales - published Jan 15th 1994 * We're selling cars like mad! - published Jan 15th 1994 (Automobile Training Services) * Stop Looking! - published Jan 15th 1994 * Sales Position, no experience necessary - published Jan 15th 1994 * $Sales$ - opportunity knocks - published Jan 15th 1994 - Advertisement * Customer Follow-up program - published Jan 15th 1994 - ATS * Back to Basics - published Jan 15th 1994 - Automobile Training Services * Automotive Sales - published Jan 15th 1994 - 3 sound cassettes - Automobile Training Services * Automotive Sales - qualify (Title appears in Backs to Basics & 11 other Titles) - recorded April 24th 1995 * Automotive Sales - meet & greet (Title appears in Backs to Basics & 11 other Titles) - recorded April 24th 1995 * Automotive sales - select, demo and feature - (Title appears in Backs to Basics & 11 other Titles) - recorded April 24th 1995 * Backs to Basics & 11 other Titles - recorded April 24th 1995 - ATS, Inc >>>> Introduction of World Wide Consulting Service Inc, - followed by Copyright publications. * ATS/World Wide Consulting Service Inc, training manual - published Feb 12th 1997 >>>> May 1998 - World Wide Consulting Service - series of complaints received at the BBB (Better Bureau of Business) - see detail recorded address listed below. * Looking for a Career change? - published March 18th 1997 * The Road to success begins at...published Jan 1st 2003 >>>> World Wide Consulting Service Inc, (800) 722-**** PO Box 411162 Charlotte, NC 28241-**** - www.wwcsonline.com Mr. Peter Ferrigan, President - (800) 722-**** or merc51@***.com Type of Business: Training Programs Business Management Additional company management personnel include: Mr. Ed Nuttle, Ms. Tonya Dunphy Additional Locations and Phone Numbers - 9303 Monroe Rd Ste K Charlotte, NC 28270-**** Tel: (704) 522-**** Additional Fax Numbers: Fax: (704) 814-**** ** Copyright Property rights disputed - March of 2003 - Dismissed - Settled in April 2007 >>>> February 2005 - Rip-Off receives first of 16 complaints concerning World Wide Consulting Services listed under company directory "World Wide Consulting". Consumer Helpline: 1-80*-771-**** - Collective evidence relating to just ONE of the many new style "Pyramid" selling now emerging is considered under many States as "fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or illegal". Pyramid schemes are illegal in New York State, as well as in many other states. Article 23A of the General Business Law of the State of New York §359-fff sets forth the criminality of initiating and participating in pyramid schemes (also known as chain distributor schemes). Pyramid schemes may or may not involve the sale of products or distributorships. The trend is to involve sales of products or distributorships in an attempt to show legitimacy. . Pyramid schemes focus on the exchange of money and recruitment. ** David S Moncatti in allegiance with Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY, set up arrangements to advertise for Auto-Sales Personnel. At the heart of each pyramid scheme there is typically a representation that new participants can recoup their original investments by inducing two or more prospects to make the same investment. ** Auto Sales pitch indicated quality earnings at the completion of a 90 day Training induction that would require the pre-purchase of a Manual which assisted in the process. Indication was also given that at the end of the 90 day duration the Dealership in question would return said amount paid. Indication was also given that "Training" was compliance on conditions both related and un-related as per deemed eligible by the Dealership. Often there is not even an established market for the products so the "sale" of such merchandise, newsletters or services is used as a front for transactions which occur only among and between the operation's distributors. ** In this instance between the two parties known as David S Moncatti in allegiance with Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY Therefore, your earning potential depends primarily on how many people you sign up, not how much merchandise is sold. **David S Moncatti in allegiance with Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY agreed to FOUR participants at a lucrative sum totaling to $2516 (4x$629) of which it was understood that a % is paid direct to Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY. Documents given to Trainees also states that none of the monies paid, is reimbursed based on various "un-obtainable" conditions. Ilegal Aspects of Pyramid Scams Pyramids are deceptive and participants in a pyramid, and pyramid sales plans are by their very nature not only deceptive, they are illegal, and the participants can under many State Laws be subject to fines and possible arrest. The con artist at the top views each new investor as a predicable set of revenues and expenses, with the revenues flowing directly to him. He happily pays out commissions for the recruitment efforts of others. "Pyramid selling" as defined by the Federal Trade Commission involves "inventory loading" and "head hunting fees". ** Through a tiered volume of Companies clearly indicating that Peter Ferrigan is either co-owner or President, each ONE introducing the concept of "Sales Techniques" by a variety of determined "Fees" - Training "Products" all purchasable. This in turn requires that sub-personnel titled as in part 'Consultant' to recruit further "Auto-Sales" Trainees ....selling the idea of "Training" and associated packages as a united front under the umbrella of the participating Dealership. At each given level there is given to understand that a % of monies is paid out – from the Dealership back up to the top of the Pyramid that being Peter Ferrigan. People who break the law relating to multi-level marketing or pyramid selling can be convicted and sentenced to a fine or a prison term. Amendments to the Act passed in 1999 now allow the court to impose a fine of up to $200,000 or a prison term of up to one year, or both, for a less serious offence. For a more serious offence, the court may set its own fine or a prison term of up to five years, or both. The Bureau conducts its investigations in private and keeps confidential the identity of the source and the information provided. However, if someone has important evidence about an offence under the Act, that person may be asked to testify in court. The above action can also be veiwed as:> UNLAWFUL PRACTICES. Subdivision 1. Fraud, misrepresentation, deceptive practices. The act, use, or employment by any person of any fraud, false pretense, false promise, misrepresentation, misleading statement or deceptive practice, with the intent that others rely thereon in connection with the sale of any merchandise, whether or not any person has in fact been misled, deceived, or damaged thereby, is enjoin able as provided by State Law. Action regarding the above incident as reported in the beginning can also be reported under the provisions of: New York False Claims Act, N.Y. Fin. Law §§ 187 - 194, allows the Attorney General, a local government, or any person to file a lawsuit against a person or a company that obtains or withholds funds or property from the state or local government through false or fraudulent conduct.. ** Peter Ferrigan President of said above listed companies, in particular UCS Auto under the management of Mike Miller, who uses field agents/contacts as sub-regional personnel, (in this instance) Consultant David S Moncatti who in allegiance (in this instance) with Royal Ford & Mercury Motors, Owego NY is conducting a "scheme" that visibly avoids/withholds registered payments made under the probable title of "Training Materials" from being taxed or reported as "extra Income". A feasible Tier indication is that for every THREE days of activity involving a Dealership based on a Four person "Trainee" induction – there is a product sale totaling $2516.00, plus the bonus of any unregistered Employee wages or unpaid Time (in this instance) at NY State $7.35 base - (12hrs per day = $88.20). Indication is that few if any stay the allotted time of 90 days - many are given a reason to be "terminated" after THREE days of commenced "Training" within the on-site Dealership. Indication is also given that the Consultant is a returning force month after month utilizing that same procedure as an ongoing "lucrative" endeavor. A person or company found liable under the act must generally pay treble damages, civil penalties, plus costs and attorneys fees. The False Claims Act is an important new tool for people to help the state or local governments recover funds or property lost through fraud or corruption. Lawsuits filed by citizens "” known as "qui tam" suits "” are filed in secret to give the government an opportunity to investigate the allegations of fraud. Individuals that file suits may be eligible to keep a percentage of the funds they help recover. The False Claims Act also protects employees from being retaliated against for filing qui tam suits against employers who may be engaged in activity or practices that defraud the government out of money or property. All of the above plus on hand documentation involving the actual Training Manual and so called "agreements" are also being registered with the Attorney General, New York for review, and/or consideration under one all of the above Laws in place for the protection of the Consumer, or in this instance the unsuspecting "Auto-Trainee" with hopes and visions that were entrusted to the fact that there was a possibility of gaining an education in Sales - other than the one of being "Ripped_Off"!

That {{Redacted}} peter ferrigan is a piece of *** criminal thief liar. He charges about $500 gloating about his sales training at North east auto outlet in Philly.

The manager were alway yelling and insulting the sells people. {{Redacted}}-peter ferrigan informed us after 90 days we get our money back . NOT! The day {{Redacted}}-peter left were told every thing that we were taught by that *** to throw it out.

That piece of *** is such a liar that ferrigan is not his real name. Probably shyster is his real name.

Don't go for his ripoff training~

I told David Monicatti that I am not giving him 600 dollars and he flipped out on me! I lied and told him I didn't have the money and he told me to "get out" "your done!" Who pays someone to work?

He writes all the rebuttals to online reports and blames everyone else for the "bad economy." He uses intimidation and fear to get your money. I caught him in several lies including him telling us we were hired if we "made it through the day." The next day he gets the class to admit that we have not been offered a job yet but he needed 600 dollars today.

I knew from the second I met him that he was not a legitimate or ethical business person. Trust your instincts and watch out!

Everything, with the exception of comment number 9, is the truth. I was one of the fortunate ones and "smelled a rat." Checked them out before I went to the second day of training and found all kinds of juicy info.

Of course, the trainer and Fenton Nissan were furious with me for upsetting their "little apple cart" especially in front of the whole class.

Man it felt great to do that!!! I hate people who try and take advantage of others.

does anyone know of success stories associated with wwcs

I would have to say the #7 comment was written by someone from WWCS Inc.Everyone else got screwed by these thieves.

Not to be rude and I it is completly WRONG for companies to pay people to knowingly SCAM and RIP people off in this economic state, but, after doing some investigating on the claims listed. Aren't you (trainee/applicant) somewhat to blame for applying and attending an interview for a sales posistion that states "Dress for SUCESS"???

I apologize for laughing, but how do you expect to be trained to succeed by an individual who cannot spell SUCCESS???

I do hope this company is shut down at some point for taking full advantage of the unemployed.

I am grateful I personally decided against following through with the interview, it seemed shady from the minute I walked through the door. I will not pay someone to work.

Beware! Beware! Beware!

Do not fall for the advertisements that so many salesman are needed and there are jobs waiting.

The training is unprofessional and when your hard earned money is asked for with no receipt given to continue. Checks not accepted ---- RED FLAGS !!!!!

Get rid of these jokers! I fell victim --Don't you!

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!!!

Just had some "training" with Cody Richardson of WWCS today along with 12 other potential employees of Sunset Ford in St. Louis, MO.

I hope the others in my class were as unconvinced as I was as to the legitimacy of any of the information he provided on himself, or what training he covered in the first day.

He informed us that he interviewed 80 candidates, and we were the 12 the dealership chose. Convenient that everyone who interviewed happend to recognize everyone else, but didn't remember other interviewees.

He informed us that we were to start training on Wednesday, and go to work selling cars on Monday (upon completion of the training) at the close of every one of our interviews.

Looked up some background information on this clown (Cody Richardson) and apparently his "15 years in the business as a salesman, sales manager, and finance manager" has his career starting when he was 13 year old, since his public Facebook page has his age listed as 28.

I believed everything to be legitimate until I had my interview. Was told over and over how I was well qualified, and how he knew I would "do well", and be able to do it without lying, which is pretty laughable considering his background in lying about his entire life.

Also had one of the salespeople call us "summer help" which Mr. Richardson tried to quiet as the salesman walked by and said it again. Mr. Richardson made sure to use the words "career, commitment, devotion" directly afterward. - Red flag that had me curious.

Final interview was what had me 100% convinced it was a scam. Basically he reiterated everything he told us in the one day of training, and how we were the "cream of the crop", and how he knew we "want it". Then came the sales pitch, this is a "guarantee" and how we just had to give him $579.00 to recieve training in sales(everything was totally obvious, be nice, introduce yourself, place garbage statistic here, etc...)"placement service", a book, and a garbage certificate, and best of all, no certainty of an actual job.

Hopefully these idiots go out of business soon and don't take too many other people for their hard earned money. Love how these trainers get su buried in their own scam that they have to try to take everyone down with them.

Also, regarding Sunset Ford, St. Louis, MO, they, being hosts to this obvious scam, have lost the business of my family members, which have purchased 7 cars in within the last 10 years from them. Congratulations on losing multiple customers for life. Hope it was worth it.

World Wide Consulting Services/Forever Revenue

It appears these guys have moved into Oklahoma now and are attempting to run the scam here now. I was "chosen" to attend training because I "had what it took and said the right things." Rob Lewis was the "trainer" and he most certainly lied and deceived those of us that were there.

He led us to believe from the beginning that he was employed with Fenton Nissan of McAlester, Okla. and that he done all their trainings. He also flat out stated we all had jobs come Monday morning. I knew something was off when Rob Lewis asked for $630.00 and then I noticed on one of the handouts the name World Wide CS and the name Forever Revenue on another.

I thought "if this guy worked for the dealership why does he have info from a third party?" I went home and got on the internet and found all sorts of things about these guys. The speil this guy used was almost verbatum and so I printed it off and took it back the next day. I began pushing the issue by asking for an agreement in writing that stated I did indeed have a job. This guy told me he was going to do just that, but, what he gave us was a contract that stated everything just the opposite.

What ended up happening was they were forced to play their hand and do interviews before anyone would hand over money. Sad part is one lady was told she was hired but I don't think she knew that the $2000.00 per month training would actually be minimum wage which I was able to force out of them and that the $630.00 would never be seen again. I, of course, was not hired, it may have been because I wasn't what they were looking for but I would bet it had to do with the fact that they didn't like my making waves and using common sense. I know if it were about getting the "best of the best" why hire those with felony criminal backgrounds?

I know this to be true because of the original five of us, all but one, as well as myself, stated they had felony charges (embezzlement, weapons charges, rape, DUI's and drug charges) and I suspect he may have as well. At any rate these car dealerships, I believe, know whats up and if they don't it is their responsibility to know. After all they are allowing this guy to operate out of their business. These people are vultures and preying on people desperate for work and with a criminal background people become even more desperate.

I am doing all in my area to stop these guys by contacting all news outlets, informing police, filing with Attorney General, flagging their ad on Craigslist, as well as posting that this is a scam, and plastering all over facebook.

I did not get taken but others have and others may, I feel it is my obligation to speak up. Hopefully what I do will help.

Still out there (or here) just hit up Ed Napleton KIA/Acura Elmhurst,IL (Chicago Suburb)...$629.00 Pete Ferrigno (no relation to Lou or maybe 4 degrees of separation, his words)

The guy is a sociopath...started with 25 of us...I believe that 21 of us had to interview with Perry "Galecki" of Acura to make sure there was a job for us...

My "6th sense" told meeee this was a scam, but did I listen? not a chance as I just wanted to work and sell cars...

Sorry for rambling...I will get my $$$ back from Pete or a guy named "John Windsor" 800 722 ****...It's Friday night and Monday I'm going to visit the States Atty, all they can do is tell me GTFO, hit the road (call the IRS)

Thank you to whoever reads this!!!

The stories are all the same. They were in Michigan on Feb 6th.

I attended their training(what a joke, more like story hour) for the 2 1/2 days. Paid the money and was not hired. I sent a letter to dealer claiming they discriminated against me because of my age. I was the oldest in the class.

I did receive a refund from the dealer. A Mike Miller from UCS had called me saying he would work on getting me a refund but I couldn't contact the dealer or the deal was off.

I called the dealer right after I hung up with that Miller. Like I said thedealer did refund my $629.

Guest

I had this same Experience at a Nissan dealer in New Orleans. I am a very well educated person, but I had been unemployed for a few months and was desperate for work.

I pawned my class ring from my undergraduate alma mater to get the cash for this scam. How could I have been so dumb? I still currently work for the dealership, but the pay plan is so terrible that the last two months I have been making approximately $5.36/hour, given that I am working about 220 hours a month.

Promises and hopes for success keep me going, but I'm wearing thin. What these people are doing is immoral if not illegal.

hnshoemaker S

same thing happened to me, same trainer and all.. except the dealership's insurance wouldn't cover me. and now its a battle with them to get my money back.

Guest

I too got caught up in this scam.It was in sept,2011 in Knoxville Tn.If you watch Craigslist, you'll see they bounce around preying on the unemployed and desperate people. And the fact that the car dealerships play along in this scam really *** me off. Is'nt there some kind of law against this ***!!!

Guest

Good for you! Now for the up side...The "Trainer" will more than likely only get two or three assignments from WWCS, then he or she will be out the door after having paid Peter Ferrigan 4-5K for training and the "Territory".

Good luck to you!

This scam has hit North Jersey too. Garden State Honda in Clifton.

The trainer led me to believe he worked for the Honda Corporate Office. His sales volume stats kept changing every time I asked. I too became suspicious when I noticed the training materials referred to me as a student rather than applicant. I also noticed some of the paperwork he was holding said Worldwide Consulting Services and not Honda.

On day one seventeen people showed up for the class. By the second day three were left. Many people left when they were asked to show up with the $629 for the "training materials". At the end of day two we were introduced to the dealership management who were very rude and condescending.

They told us we would be the "B" team, meaning be there in

the morning and be there when we close. Our hours were to be 9am-9pm. We were also

told we'd have to make 100 telemarketing calls a day and wouldn't get to sell on the floor

for 3 weeks. They told me their sales volume is 400-500 cars per month but they had

less then 25 cars on their lot.

RUN, DON'T WALK FROM THIS SCAM!

The Better Business Bureau gave them an "F" rating, the lowest rating. Honda, please keep an eye on your dealerships!

Hey Cheesehead I too am in your area , took the Class last fall , With the Great Dan. I would like to talk to you please respond and I will get you my contact info. I have just filed a Complaint with the State Consumer Protection agency.

I was thoroughly misrepresented by this company. The so called trainer did not tell the name of his company or, any address.

He finally gave us our books on the last day, and abruptly left early Friday am, and did not even complete the so called training that he was going to do. It is sad when there are people, and companies like this that rip off people, and misrepresent themselves.

WOW!!! I guess Fenton Motors has reached an all time low.

Their recent ad stating they were in need of salespersons is a BIG FAT SCAM!!! My sister went to their "Job Fair" and was asked back for the training that was being offered. She was never really sure if she had the job so she began asking some questions in order to get a definite answer one way or the other. The man doing the training (Rob Lewis), led her and the others to believe he work for the Fenton Group and done all their trainings.

He also told them they were guaranteed a job come Monday morning with Fenton Nissan. Before the end of the day they were all told that they would need to pay $649.00 up front, but, at the end of 60 days they would receive that money back along with $4000.00 paid training monies. My sister, being the untrusting type that she is, believed that something was off here. She noticed that on some of the material she received there was the name World Wide Consulting Services, Inc., she got on line and discovered the truth.

This is a company that appears to be running a “Multi-level marketing (MLM), or Chain referral sales and a new style of Pyramid Sales” Scam. It appears that this company has been running this scam all over the Northern States with tons of complaints that support what was happening right here at Fenton Nissan. My sister, along with another guy there for “training” asked some woman by the name of **** if they were guaranteed a job and apparently this woman seemed a little nervous and stated “I don’t know anything about that. They (WWCS) are a third party that Fenton hired to come in and do the training.” My sister asked that I not use the woman’s name as she feels it might cause her problems and she said that she seemed to be a good lady.

Now, if Fenton Nissan is paying this guy, does that mean they stand to get a cut of the money this guy is getting from unsuspecting individuals in need of a job and if they aren’t aware of this guys tactics and that he is telling people they are going to go to work for Fenton Nissan come Monday morning shouldn’t they make it their business to know what is up? My sister went in this morning, with print-outs in hand, to push the issue. My sister also told me that one of the guys interviewing apparently had a criminal history and that the “trainer” brought it back into the room and shared it with everyone, the guy also insulted one woman a few times with comments of her being “old” and having an “ugly mug,” he also stated that car salesmen and people like him “got really sick of dealing with people who don’t have any money and waste their time.” My sister also told me that the $2000.00 a month was a crock and that Fenton was only going to pay minimum wage had they hired her without her knowing what was really going on. The ad Fenton Nissan allowed to be put in the paper was completely deceiving, also, they did finally agree to pay the $2000.00 salary but the $630.00 would be given back at 90 days and 120 days, not 60 as they were told originally.

Fenton also did hire the one lady the “trainer” was ugly to but my sister is pretty confident she was hired because they were caught with their “pants down” so to speak and didn’t have much choice once my sister stirred up the “bees nest.” My sister believes that had she not put them in the position to tell them (trainees) yes or no on the hiring part that no one was really going to get hired. My sister believes this was just a way for Fenton to make a little cash since sales are way down and to get some free advertisement. My sister also called Fenton this morning and asked if they were hiring and the woman on the phone stated that they were hiring she thought and that all you needed to do was come in fill out app and get an interview then. So again I ask, “Why hire an outside agency to canvas for sales people if that was all you needed to do?

Why not run your own ad for sales help?” That tells me they had no real intentions of hiring any of them, that is, until they were put on the spot. Needless to say my sister did not get hired, lol. I can’t imagine why!!! Her belief is she would rather loss everything she has worked so hard to get and keep, than to work for or be a party to, lies, deceit, and deception.

Sad part is, she is highly ethical and firm in her beliefs and no one seems to have any value for that or even want it around.

She would have made a terrible car salesperson anyway as she cannot stand there and bald-face lie. Thanks for listening and pass the word so others are not tricked by this ***

Guest

I too got caught up in this scam.Took the class, which was nothing more than you could learn on line for free. Was constantly told I would be hired by the hosting dealership.Never given a definitive yes or no as far as a job go's. Strongly believe the car dealership was in on this scam.If I cant retrieve my $629.00,next step is the attorney generals office.

Took my $4980.00 and no work

World wide consulting services will take your $4980 and send you to 2 dealerships in 2 months and then you never hear from them again. I was scammed. There also trying to operated under the name UCS. They were advertising in automotive news for Trainers with General manager experience only as they know former GMs have the money to pay. Pete Ferrigan,Ken Carver, Skye are all part of this scam. They tell you they have plenty of work in the state you live in and that the dealership you do the training will cover hotel, gas, airfare but it is all lies.

This whole scam is still going on...Ed Napleton Dealers Chicago Suburbs "Pete Ferrigno" (no relation to Lou his words)He had a class of 25 of us, I think 5 are still working in the actual stores (Kia/Acura) at $500 per person not bad "work" if you can get it... (sarcasm) I've been calling (800) ***-**** *X a day s/w someone named John one time...

Thank you for the tips...I'll be calling in the morning let them know I'm contacting IRS and States Atty...

Last question, are the dealerships complicit in this in any manner? Good Day

World Wide Consulting Services is still scamming people?? If you get a phone call, email, post card, or fax from this place, do yourself a favor and run like ***.

It's a scam for both trainers and people in class. Unless of course you're unemployed and like paying hundreds of dollars just to listen to some psycho talk about his make believe millions and how he lives rich and how many cars he has.

Or on the other hand you can give 4-5k as a trainer and let them send you on one job, lose money, and then never get another job and never see your 4-5k again. Either way you lose.

Just had some "training" with Cody Richardson of WWCS today along with 12 other potential employees of Sunset Ford in St. Louis, MO.

About 12 years ago I started using Worldwide to get me salespeople and they did just that. They have provided me with some of my best salespeople i have ever had work for me.

Since then I had become a trainer with them for the past 6 years and couldnt be happier. I make enough money to where I only need to work 30 times during the entire year. the managers and staff at Worldwide have become like family to me and thats how they have taught me to treat my students and dealers that I train for.

Any ill words directed at Worldwide must be completely false and unjustified. You people need to stop blaming them and berating them to help boost your self esteem.

I have worked with Pete and this Company for 17 years. He has trained for me at several stores that I have worked at and has done a fantastic job.

It's sad that everyone has to make up things about a company to try to bury the competition.

Good Luck!!!!! Keep doing a great job Pete and thanks again for everything!

Yep, Peter Ferrigan at it again! I guess he has too many complaints under worldwide consulting services (wwcs), so he is using UCS Auto now.

Maybe its one word? UCSauto.

Either way, proceed at your own risk when dealing with old rubber face. Do a little research and you will come up with pages and pages of complaints.

I was promised a job as a salesman at Legacy Toyota during the three day training. No job!

Why? I was trained by a Toyota Sales Manager! Why would the toyota sales manager tell me for three days that I have a job and at the end of training tell me that Toyota doesn't want me??

Oh that's because that sales manager was a trainer from WWCS!!!! Unemployed-Bankrupt-and WWCS got my last unemployment check.
